Dirty Drummer


Dirty Drummer is the moniker of North Carolina based producer Dave Haire. Drawing from his roughly 20 years of musical experience, DD’s work showcases his talents as a traditional musician combined with his love for turntables and drum machines. The music that comes out is a perfect storm of obscure samples, live drums, bass and guitar along with various percussion and noises that play in the world of funk, soul, jazz, dub, afro-beat and down-tempo flavors. Although each piece sounds tight, DD takes care to preserve all the snaps, crackles and other imperfections that contribute to the “loose and dirty” sound.
